Nestled in the heart of Tampines Greencourt, this four-room HDB flat was designed for a dynamic, sociable couple with no children, who love hosting large gatherings. The design brief emphasized creating a spacious and inviting living and dining area to accommodate their frequent guests. This home features a thoughtfully curated blend of modern elements, clean lines, and muted tones, resulting in a chic, practical, and highly functional space. And to spruce it up, we added some bohemian vibes with the rattan and antique furnitures.

A muted color palette dominates the space, with tones of earthy greens, warm wood, and light neutrals. These tones create a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere, balancing a modern aesthetic with natural warmth. The dark green cabinetry adds depth, contrasting against the warm wood finishes of the dining table and walls, while the light-colored cement flooring introduces an industrial edge, keeping the design grounded and fresh.

The key highlight here would be the living and dining area. The couple’s love for social gatherings is evident the moment you step into space. The living room is seamlessly integrated with an expansive dining space, creating an open-concept environment perfect for entertaining. One of the main feature would be the massive dining table, crafted from solid wood, which comfortably seats up to eight to ten guests. This substantial piece anchors the room and serves as the heart of the home where the couple can host lively dinner parties and social events.
